An Aumtumn sunset at Point Pelee

Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National ParkThe other night D and I went to Point Pelee National Park for sunset. It was one of those sunny, autumn, days where the weather was too good to be true and we knew that if we didn’t seize the moment, it would be a long time before we could walk outside with only a jacket again.

We saw gaggles of wild turkeys, lots of yellow trees, and the point! Finally! After such a long, long time with only a stub of land to call the most southern part of Canada, we finally had the crescent to walk to, a build up to a grand finale. The last time I truly saw the point was probably in high school where I remember stopping mid-way because the walk to the end was too long and tiring; you can imagine then how excited I was to see this sandy beach. Like an old friend.
All in all, a weekend well spent! Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National ParkWhere My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National ParkWhere My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park Where My Eyes Go | Point Pelee National Park
